Seems like the guys from Blizzard (or whoever owns it now) managed to render this bot useless for the time being. Pointers and hooks are most likely all over the place now. D2Client.dll does not exist anymore.

Anyone still working on this one ?

That patch really took me by surprise...

I also get the invalid address message.
I did get a storm.dll missing error at one point. I'm not sure if that's important.

Blizzard has recently patched D2 and thus all pointers used by the
underlying libraries are now broken. This has nothing to do with Kolbot,
though it does render it useless until (if) the D2BS is patched accordingly
first.

The impression I got from other internet sources is that d2bs will be updated.

It also looks like Blizzard is working on a graphics update for it's old games...

I'm pretty sure it's kukbot redvex, that's what I was using but it runs like crap compared to kolbot

I used d2nt forever before this fine program
it even gives errors when trying to use it to load blank entry point

According to what I read on Project Etal web site...It is not working now either. Besides I always liked Kolbot better IMHO.

im seeing that some have mods already for them to run now but
im waiting on the official DL from here

Most likely there well be another patch coming soon, seeing that some bugs have been introduced with 1.14 (Mercenary bug etc). So it might be prudent to wait until they come or with the 'final' patch before worrying about d2bs. AutoIt bots are, of course, not affected by this but offer a lot less functionality.
After looking at some of the new routines added by the patch it also appears that some new functions have been added to the game warden which makes it even more important not to rush things.

(I cannot take credit for this) Found a temporary fix to get kolbot working, i just don't know if it's the safest thing right now. I'll post back in a couple days if i don't get banned.

Where did you find this 'temporary' fix? Now I am curious ;-)

Yeah i'm really interested in a fix also. I have a lot of cdkeys and accs and I can definitely help with testing Jagermeister, lemme know sir.

I really would not recommend using this 'fix'. It basically spoofs the D2 Servers into thinking that you are running version 1.14a while in fact you are still running 1.13d.
Whenever Kolbot crashes, the Warden will see the discrepancy and most likely flag your CD Key.
It is a 'hack' and not a fix per se.
I have made some minor progress with OllyDebug and the new Game.exe but it will still take some time before anything remotely useful will come out of it.
Seeing that there will most likely be another patch coming soon, I prefer to wait until there is a final Patch that will be around for a while before wasting too much time on it.

it does work, but exactly what nicolas72 said... d2 is completely broken, they will send a patch soon and probably ban all the bot running now.

Since I only own 2 CD keys I really have no interest in jeopardizing them with this fix. Currently I am more interested in fixing my Linux based snoogans maphack than anything else. Tracing and analyzing all the new fastcall routines in the new game.exe is tedious work and will require a complete d2bs cite overhaul once done. Another option for those who do not want to wait, check out slashdiablo and their free servers. They are still running 1.13d and I don't they will see the need to upgrade anytime soon.
Even though it is not the official battle.net it is still fun for active players. (Unlikely since this is a not thread)
It might actually be more fun if those bots (Etal/kolbot) won't get fixed at all. Kind of miss the active player base and more levelled economy.

The 'fix' is a version hack you can find on blizzhackers or similar pages. As said before, it is detecteable. As far as I know blizzard will not ban you instantly - but flag your account and key and ban at a later point, probably at next ladder reset or next patch (which might be quicker than 4 years this time).
So we all have to play the patience game or get along with kukbot for now.

While it might sound offending or even rude, I understand Jagermeister56 reason for saying just that.
Spoon feeding causes more problems along the lines. Once you start with it you are basically stuck doing just that over and over again because one tends to underestimate the 'laziness' of some people.
This might not be your case but this is about principle here. Everything you need to know can be solved by doing a google search with more or less refined search parameters.
As far as the working kolbot is concerned, I highly advise against using this kind of version hack to run it. First of all, the ladder season is almost over, as far as I know (Resets May ? end of May).
Secondly, D2BS will most definitely be updated in the future with an eye on Warden detectability etc etc.
I am quite sure they were more or less waiting for the 'final' patch to be out before they start analysing the new calls and routines in the game.exe.

ok my windows 7 pc got fixed and works on 114c

I tried to help my friend fix his windows 10 and it failed
one of the errors was this
libnspr4.dll failed to load
and some said the d2exp.mpq was corrupt
but the diablo 2 was good I loged on to bnet before trying to fix their d2bs

what I think my problem was for the win 10 machine is my friends DL the new installers and the version hack wouldn't work with the new installers
